Completed the move of the the production servers scheduled to be move on 8/13 - 8/14. The move went quite well. We used the entire maintenance window to complete the move. During the move we discovered that a routing change that was made earlier in the evening did not update properly and it took about and additional 45 minutes to get the routing to stabilize. We know what the cause of that delay was and have modified the move procedures so that the additional delay can be avoided on subsequent moves. With this change we anticipate that the remaining moves will easily fit within our standard maintenance windows.
