IP Address Renumbering
We have been working the IP Renumbering project for the past week and it is moving along much quicker than we had expected. During the same time the demand for additonal IP space has spiked and we will be making a request to ARIN for additional space in the coming weeks. In light of this we have moved the timeline for completion of the IP Renumbering project from 7/31/2009 to 6/30/2009.
REMINDER: Customers that need to renumber have all been contacted. If you have not been contacted your organization is not required to renumber.
Data Center Expansion
Additional Data Center Space has been acquired in Waltham and Somerville. Customers requiring Enterprise Class SAS70 Type II Data Center Space should contact NET1Plus Sales for information on moving to this space.

Data Center and Network Up Time from 4/24/09 5PM to 5/1/09 5PM was 100%.
Domain Hosting DNS Server Incident on 5/7/2009 at Approximately 11:25AM
The NET1Plus Domain Hosting DNS Servers experienced a zone file failure due to a recent enhancement. The incident lasted approximately 5-15 minutes. This incident impacted only client look ups on domains that are hosted on these servers. The issue was corrected by rolling out the enhancement, correcting the script error that caused the issue and manually making the changes necessary. The Change Management procedure for applying enhancements was modified by adding several confirmation steps to the enhancement roll out procedure. These changes should eliminate a similar situation from occurring in the future.
Customers that are using the appropriate Access DNS Servers as previously announced were not impacted by this incident. Within the next week we will be resending the communication sent previously that instructs users that need to use the NET1Plus DNS Servers on client systems to use the appropriate DNS Query servers rather than the NET1Plus DNS Hosting Servers for general client lookups.
