What you need to do regarding the above changes:
For Web/Domain Hosting Customers: If you use NET1Plus DNS Services to handle your DNS Records and you have not registered your Domain through NET1Plus, you must contact your Domain Registration Company and ensure that your DNS settings for your Domain are set up as shown above. In some, but not all cases, your domain registrar may have the DNS setting set to the Fully Qualified Domain Name of the NET1Plus DNS Servers, such as ns1.net1plus.com and ns2.net1plus.com and possibly ns3.net1plus.com. If this is the case then it is likely that you will not have to make any changes at your domain registrar. Please check with your Domain Registrar for confirmation or perform a "whois" for free here. Simply enter your domain name in the WHOIS/IPWHOIS Lookup box. If you see ns1.net1plus.com and ns2.net1plus.com in the results you are all set.
For customers using NET1Plus DNS Servers for General DNS Lookups: If you are using 207.77.56.2, 207.77.56.10, or 207.77.56.27 as your DNS Server entries on any of your Firewalls, Routers, Workstations, Servers or any other devices, you will need to change those settings to the new General Purpose DNS Server IP addresses listed below. If you are unclear if you need to make any of those changes please contact your network administrator.
EXTREMELY IMPORTANT: The above server IP Addresses starting with 207.x.x.x will no longer be available for general DNS Client Queries or Domain Hosting after 6/30/2009. The new server IP addresses listed above are to be used for DNS Record Hosting Only and not for general client query use. That is, you do not use these server setting is your TCP/IP configurations on workstations, servers, routers or other devices. They are only to be used as the authoritative DNS server for DNS and Web Hosting. These are the settings you will typically use at your Domain Name Registrar if NET1Plus is hosting your DNS Records. If you are using these DNS settings for any other purpose you will need to change those setting to the new IP addresses listed below.

The following General Purpose DNS Query Servers are available for immediate use by NET1Plus customers that have subscribed to NET1Plus High Speed Connectivity Services such as DSL, T1, GigE as well as Co-Location and Dedicated Server customers. What is the impact to my services with NET1Plus if my system or domain requires I make these changes but I do not make the necessary changes?
The negative impact of not making the necessary changes will vary based on the types of services you have that rely on the configuration elements that are changing. Here are some examples of some of the problems that may occur if the changes are required and not made. For access type services such as T1 and GigE, you may not be able to browse the Internet, send email or transact business. For colocation and dedicated servers, your servers may not communicate properly to clients attempting to access them, etc. For web hosting customers your web site and servers may not be reachable by users of the Internet and you may have trouble sending and receiving email.
