DSL Latency Issue Resolved
The DSL Latency Issue that was experienced after the DS3 failure on September 18th was due to a BGP and OSPF reconfiguration that was performed on the Quincy router. A feature of the router, Cisco Express Forwarding (CEF), which enhances the performance of routing, was turned off by default on the router after a reload. Once it was determined that CEF was not enabled, it was enabled and latency issues were cleared up.
