The email processor load returned to normal levels at approximately 2:00PM. The issue stemmed from a customer's account being compromised and then a SPAMMER using that account from multiple systems to send tens of thousands of messages every minute.
This stresses the importance of not letting anyone know your passwords. By all means do not get suckered into those Phishing Scams that ask for your email address, password and other personal information under the guise of updating your account at NET1Plus. Remember, NET1Plus never ask for passwords, security codes or credit card information through email.
